Genesis 2:21-25

21So the Lord God caused a adeep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made

into a woman and brought her to the man.
23Then the man said,

This at last is cbone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was dtaken out of Man.”
The Hebrew words for  woman (ishshah) and  man (ish) sound alike

24 fTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

Genesis 5:2

2Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man
Hebrew adam
when they were created.

Malachi 2:15

15 hDid he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union?
Hebrew  in it
And what was the one God
Hebrew  the one
seeking?
Or And not one has done this who has a portion of the Spirit. And what was that one seeking?
lGodly offspring. So guard yourselves
