Genesis 2:3

3So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

Exodus 16:29

29See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”

Exodus 20:8-11

8 aRemember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 bSix days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10but the cseventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the dsojourner who is within your gates. 11For ein six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Exodus 35:2

2 fSix days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

Leviticus 23:3

The Sabbath

3 gSix days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.

Leviticus 23:24

24Speak to the people of Israel, saying, In hthe seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, ia memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.

Leviticus 23:32

32It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

Leviticus 23:39

39“On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have jgathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days. On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

Leviticus 25:4

4but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the Lord. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15

12“‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. 13Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14but kthe seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, lthat your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. 15 mYou shall remember that you were a slave
Or servant
in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there owith a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
