Genesis 2:5-6

5When no abush of the field
Or open country
was yet in the land
Or earth; also verse 6
and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man dto work the ground,
6and a mist
Or spring
was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground

Psalms 65:9-13

9 You visit the earth and owater it;

you greatly enrich it;
qthe river of God is full of water;
ryou provide their grain,
for so you have prepared it.
10You water its furrows abundantly,
settling its ridges,
softening it with sshowers,
and blessing its growth.
11You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks toverflow with abundance.
12 uThe pastures of the wilderness overflow,
the hills vgird themselves with joy,
13 wthe meadows clothe themselves with flocks,
the valleys deck themselves with grain,
they xshout and sing together for joy.

Isaiah 5:6

6I will make it a waste;
it shall not be pruned or hoed,
and ybriers and thorns shall grow up;
zI will also command the clouds
that they rain no rain upon it.

Jeremiah 14:22

22Are there any among aathe false gods of the nations abthat can bring rain?
Or can the heavens give showers?
Are you not he, O Lord our God?
We set our hope on you,
