Genesis 20:7

7Now then, return the man’s wife, afor he is a prophet, so that he will pray for you, and you shall live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die, you band all who are yours.”

1 Kings 17:9-15

9Arise, go to cZarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.” 10So he arose and went to dZarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there egathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” 11And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, “Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” 12And she said, f“As the Lord your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die.” 13And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. 14For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.’” 15And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.

1 Kings 17:20-24

20And he cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?” 21 gThen he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, let this child’s life
Or soul; also verse 22
come into him again.”
22And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and ihe revived. 23And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house and delivered him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives.” 24And the woman said to Elijah, jNow I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

1 Kings 18:3-4

3And Ahab called Obadiah, who was kover the household. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly, 4and lwhen Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water.)

2 Kings 4:8-10

Elisha and the Shunammite Woman

8One day Elisha went on to mShunem, where a nwealthy woman lived, who urged him to eat some food. So whenever he passed that way, he would turn in there to eat food. 9And she said to her husband, “Behold now, I know that this is a holy oman of God who is continually passing our way. 10Let us make a small room on the roof with walls and put there for him a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp, so that whenever he comes to us, he can go in there.”

2 Kings 4:16-17

16And he said, “At this season, pabout this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord, qO man of God; rdo not lie to your servant.” 17But the woman conceived, and she bore a son about that time sthe following spring, as Elisha had said to her.

2 Kings 4:32-37

32When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. 33So he went in and tshut the door behind the two of them uand prayed to the Lord. 34Then he went up and lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as vhe stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. 35Then he got up again and walked once back and forth in the house, and went up wand stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. 36Then he summoned Gehazi and said, “Call this Shunammite.” So he called her. And when she came to him, he said, “Pick up your son.” 37She came and fell at his feet, bowing to the ground. xThen she picked up her son and went out.
