Jacob’s Children

Ezra 6:10

Job 42:9-10

9 iSo Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the Lord had told them, and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.

The Lord Restores Job’s Fortunes

10And the Lord jrestored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job ktwice as much as he had before.

Proverbs 15:8

8 lThe sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
but mthe prayer of the upright is acceptable to him.

Proverbs 15:29

29The Lord is nfar from the wicked,
but he ohears the prayer of the righteous.

Isaiah 45:11

11 Thus says pthe Lord,
the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him:
qAsk me of things to come;
will you command me rconcerning my children and sthe work of my hands?
A slight emendation yields  will you question me about my children, or command me concerning the work of my hands?
