The Birth of Isaac

1The Lord avisited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah bas he had promised.

1 Samuel 1:19-20

19They rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord; then they went back to their house at cRamah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord dremembered her. 20And in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, “I have asked for him from the Lord.”
 Samuel sounds like the Hebrew for heard of God


Psalms 113:9

9He fgives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.
gPraise the Lord!

Luke 1:24-25

24After these days his wife Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she kept herself hidden, saying, 25Thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me, hto take away my reproach among people.”

Luke 1:36

36And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her iwho was called barren.

Hebrews 11:11

11By faith jSarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered khim faithful who had promised.
