Genesis 24:3-4

3that I may make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and God of the earth, that ayou will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell, 4 bbut will go to my country and to my kindred, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”

Genesis 29:19

19Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to any other man; stay with me.”

Judges 1:12-14

Judges 12:9

2Then he came up and told his father and mother, “I saw one of the daughters of the Philistines at Timnah. qNow get her for me as my wife.”
