33 Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and ^acalled there on the name of the Lord, ^bthe Everlasting God.

19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to ^cBeersheba. And Abraham lived at ^dBeersheba.

33 He called it Shibah; ^{▼▼ Shibah sounds like the Hebrew for oath} therefore the name of the city is ^fBeersheba to this day.

1 So Israel took his journey with all that he had and came to ^gBeersheba, and offered sacrifices ^hto the God of his father Isaac.

3 Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to ⁱBeersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
