The Sacrifice of Isaac
1After these things aGod tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”Exodus 3:4
4When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, bGod called to him cout of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”1 Samuel 3:4
4Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said, “Here I am!”1 Samuel 3:6
6And the Lord called again, “Samuel!” and Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But he said, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.”1 Samuel 3:8
8And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy.1 Samuel 3:16
16But Eli called Samuel and said, “Samuel, my son.” And he said, “Here I am.”Isaiah 58:9
9Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
