Genesis 22:2
2He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to athe land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”Genesis 22:12
12He said, b“Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for cnow I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”2 Samuel 14:7
7And now the whole clan has risen against your servant, and they say, ‘Give up the man who struck his brother, that we may put him to death for the life of his brother whom he killed.’ And so they would ddestroy the heir also. Thus they would quench my coal that is left and leave to my husband neither name nor eremnant on the face of the earth.”1 Kings 17:9
9“Arise, go to fZarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”1 Kings 17:12
12And she said, g“As the Lord your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die.”1 Kings 17:18
18And she said to Elijah, h“What have you against me, O iman of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”1 Kings 17:23
