Genesis 24:3-4

3that I may make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and God of the earth, that ayou will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell, 4 bbut will go to my country and to my kindred, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”

Genesis 26:34-35

34When Esau was forty years old, he took cJudith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite to be his wife, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite, 35and dthey made life bitter
Hebrew  they were bitterness of spirit
for Isaac and Rebekah.

Genesis 27:46

46Then Rebekah said to Isaac, f“I loathe my life because of the Hittite women.
Hebrew daughters of Heth
hIf Jacob marries one of the Hittite women like these, one of the women of the land, what good will my life be to me?”

Jacob Sent to Laban

1Then Isaac called Jacob iand blessed him and directed him, j“You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women. 2 kArise, go to Paddan-aram to the house of lBethuel your mother’s father, and take as your wife from there one of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother.

Judges 14:2

2Then he came up and told his father and mother, “I saw one of the daughters of the Philistines at Timnah. mNow get her for me as my wife.”
