Genesis 25:2-4

2 aShe bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. 3Jokshan fathered Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim. 4The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Genesis 25:12-16

12These are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, bwhom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s servant, bore to Abraham. 13 cThese are the names of the sons of Ishmael, named in the order of their birth: dNebaioth, the firstborn of Ishmael; and eKedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15Hadad, fTema, gJetur, hNaphish, and Kedemah. 16These are the sons of Ishmael and these are their names, by their villages and by their encampments, itwelve princes according to their tribes.

Genesis 37:25-28

25Then they sat down to eat. And looking up they saw a jcaravan of kIshmaelites coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing lgum, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry it down to Egypt. 26Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it mif we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and nlet not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. 28Then oMidianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and psold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt.

Jeremiah 25:20

20and rall the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of sthe land of Uz and all the kings of tthe land of the Philistines ( uAshkelon, vGaza, Ekron, and the remnant of wAshdod);

Judgment on Kedar and Hazor

28Concerning xKedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down.

Thus says the Lord:
y“Rise up, advance against zKedar!
Destroy aathe people of the east!
29 abTheir tents and their flocks shall be taken,
their accurtains and all their goods;
their camels shall be led away from them,
and men shall cry to them: adTerror on every side!’
30 aeFlee, wander far away, dwell in the depths,
O inhabitants of Hazor!

declares the Lord.
For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon
has made a plan against you
and formed a purpose against you.
31 af“Rise up, advance against a nation agat ease,
ahthat dwells securely,

declares the Lord,
aithat has no gates or bars,
that dwells alone.
32 ajTheir camels shall become plunder,
their herds of livestock a spoil.
akI will scatter to every wind
althose who cut the corners of their hair,
and I will bring their calamity
from every side of them,

declares the Lord.
33Hazor shall become ama haunt of jackals,
an everlasting waste;
anno man shall dwell there;
aono man shall sojourn in her.”

Jeremiah 50:37

37A sword against her horses and against her chariots,
and against all apthe foreign troops in her midst,
that aqthey may become women!
arA sword against all her treasures,
that they may be plundered!

Ezekiel 30:5

5 asCush, and atPut, and Lud, and auall Arabia, and Libya,
With Septuagint; Hebrew Cub
and the people of the land that is in league,
Hebrew  and the sons of the land of the covenant
shall fall with them by the sword.
