Genesis 25:2-4

2 ^aShe bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. 3 Jokshan fathered Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim. 4 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Genesis 25:12-16

12 These are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, ^bwhom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s servant, bore to Abraham. 13 ^cThese are the names of the sons of Ishmael, named in the order of their birth: ^dNebaioth, the firstborn of Ishmael; and ^eKedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15 Hadad, ^fTema, ^gJetur, ^hNaphish, and Kedemah. 16 These are the sons of Ishmael and these are their names, by their villages and by their encampments, ⁱtwelve princes according to their tribes.

Genesis 37:25-28

25 Then they sat down to eat. And looking up they saw a ^jcaravan of ^kIshmaelites coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing ^lgum, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry it down to Egypt. 26 Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it ^mif we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27 Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and ⁿlet not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. 28 Then ^oMidianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and ^psold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels ^{▼▼A shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams} of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt.

29 ^abTheir tents and their flocks shall be taken,
their ^accurtains and all their goods;
their camels shall be led away from them,
and men shall cry to them: ^ad‘Terror on every side!’
30 ^aeFlee, wander far away, dwell in the depths,
O inhabitants of Hazor!

declares the Lord.
For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon
has made a plan against you
and formed a purpose against you.

that dwells alone.
32 ^ajTheir camels shall become plunder,

33 Hazor shall become ^ama haunt of jackals,

Jeremiah 50:37

37 A sword against her horses and against her chariots,
and against all ^apthe foreign troops in her midst,
