Genesis 25:23

23And the Lord said to her,

aTwo nations are in your womb,
and two peoples from within you
Or  from birth
shall be divided;
cthe one shall be stronger than the other,
dthe older shall serve the younger.”

Genesis 27:27-30

27So he came near and kissed him. And Isaac smelled the smell of his garments eand blessed him and said,

See, fthe smell of my son
is as the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed!
28May God give you of gthe dew of heaven
and of the fatness of the earth
and hplenty of grain and wine.
29Let peoples serve you,
and nations ibow down to you.
jBe lord over your brothers,
and may your mother’s sons bow down to you.
kCursed be everyone who curses you,
and blessed be everyone who blesses you!”
30As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

Genesis 27:33

33Then Isaac trembled very violently and said, “Who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate it all before you came, and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed.”

Genesis 28:3-4

3 lGod Almighty
Hebrew El Shaddai
bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples.
4May he give nthe blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of othe land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

Genesis 28:13-14

13And behold, pthe Lord stood above it
Or beside him
and said, r“I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. sThe land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.
14Your offspring shall be like tthe dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and uyour offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 32:28-30

28Then he said, v“Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel,
 Israel means He strives with God, or God strives
for xyou have striven with God and ywith men, and have prevailed.”
29Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, zWhy is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him. 30So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel,
 Peniel means the face of God
saying, “For abI have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”

Genesis 48:4

4and said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your offspring after you acfor an everlasting possession.’

Romans 9:10-13

10And not only so, but adalso when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of aehim who calls 12she was told, af“The older will serve the younger.” 13As it is written, agJacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
