Genesis 27:29

29 Let peoples serve you,
and nations ^abow down to you.
^bBe lord over your brothers,
and may your mother’s sons bow down to you.

Isaiah 11:14

14 ^dBut they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west,

Isaiah 63:1-6

The Lord’s Day of Vengeance

he who is splendid in his apparel,

“It is I, speaking in righteousness,
mighty to save.”
2 Why is your ^mapparel red,
and your garments like his ⁿwho treads in the winepress?
3 ^o“I have trodden the winepress alone,
^pand from the peoples no one was with me;
I trod them in my anger
and trampled them in my wrath;

and stained all my apparel.
4 ^rFor the day of vengeance was in my heart,

5 I looked, but ^tthere was no one to help;
I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold;
so my own arm brought me salvation,
and my wrath upheld me.
6 I trampled down the peoples in my anger;

and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

Jeremiah 49:2

2 Therefore, behold, the days are coming,
declares the Lord,
