41Now Esau ahated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him, and Esau said to himself, b“The days of mourning for my father are approaching; cthen I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Proverbs 26:24-26

24Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips
and harbors deceit in his heart;
25 dwhen he speaks graciously, believe him not,

1 John 2:9

9Whoever says he is in the light and fhates his brother is still in darkness.

11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and gwalks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

1 John 3:12-15

Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verses 14, 16
kthat the world hates you.
14We know that lwe have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. 15 mEveryone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that nno murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
