Genesis 29:32-33

32And Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben,
 Reuben means See, a son
for she said, “Because the Lord bhas looked upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me.”
33She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.
 Simeon sounds like the Hebrew for heard

Exodus 2:24-25

Exodus 3:7-8

7Then the Lord said, i“I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their jtaskmasters. I know their sufferings, 8and kI have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and lto bring them up out of that land to a mgood and broad land, a land nflowing with milk and honey, to the place of othe Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

1 Samuel 1:11

11And she pvowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed qlook on the affliction of your servant and rremember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, sand no razor shall touch his head.”

Psalms 25:18

18 tConsider my affliction and my trouble,
and forgive all my sins.
