Genesis 29:33

33She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.
 Simeon sounds like the Hebrew for heard

Genesis 34:25

25On the third day, when they were sore, two of the sons of Jacob, bSimeon and Levi, cDinah’s brothers, took their swords and came against the city while it felt secure and killed all the males.

Genesis 34:30

30Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, d“You have brought trouble on me eby making me stink to the inhabitants of the land, fthe Canaanites and the Perizzites. gMy numbers are few, and if they gather themselves against me and attack me, I shall be destroyed, both I and my household.”

Genesis 49:5-7
