Genesis 3:1-5

The Fall

1Now athe serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.

He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You

shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”
2And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3but God said, c‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 dBut the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

1 Kings 22:21-23

21Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ 22And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be ea lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

Matthew 8:29-31

29And behold, they fcried out, “What have you to do with us, gO Son of God? Have you come here to torment us hbefore the time?” 30Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them. 31And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.”

Mark 1:24

24 iWhat have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? jI know who you arekthe Holy One of God.”

Mark 1:34

34 lAnd he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And mhe would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Mark 5:9-13

9And Jesus asked him, What is your name?” He replied, “My name is nLegion, for we are many.” 10And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country. 11Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, 12and they begged him, saying, “Send us to the pigs; let us enter them.” 13So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs; and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the sea.

Acts 16:17-18

17She followed Paul and us, ocrying out, “These men are pservants
Greek bondservants
of rthe Most High God, who proclaim to you sthe way of salvation.”
18And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, t“I command you uin the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And vit came out that very hour.
