Genesis 3:14

14The Lord God said to the serpent,

Because you have done this,
cursed are you above all livestock
and above all beasts of the field;
on your belly you shall go,
and adust you shall eat
all the days of your life.

Curses for Disobedience

15“But rif you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and sovertake you. 16Cursed shall you be tin the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. 17Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 18Cursed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 19Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.

20“The Lord uwill send on you curses, confusion, and vfrustration in all that you undertake to do, wuntil you are destroyed and perish quickly on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me.

Deuteronomy 29:19-21

19one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. 20The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather xthe anger of the Lord and yhis jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the Lord zwill blot out his name from under heaven. 21And the Lord will single him out from all the tribes of Israel for calamity, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.

Galatians 3:10

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

10For all who rely on works of the law are aaunder a curse; for it is written, abCursed be everyone who does not acabide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”
