15I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring

Genesis 4:8-10

8Cain spoke to Abel his brother.

Genesis 37:17-28

17And the man said, “They have gone away, for I heard them say, ‘Let us go to hDothan.’” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them at iDothan.

18They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them jthey conspired against him to kill him. 19They said to one another, “Here comes this dreamer. 20Come now, klet us kill him and throw him into one of the pits.
Or cisterns; also verses 22, 24
Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him, and we will see what will become of his dreams.”
21But when mReuben heard it, he rescued him out of their hands, saying, “Let us not take his life.” 22And Reuben said to them, “Shed no blood; throw him into this pit here in the wilderness, but do not lay a hand on him”— nthat he might rescue him out of their hand to restore him to his father. 23So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe, othe robe of many colors that he wore. 24And they took him and pthrew him into a pit. The pit was empty; there was no water in it.

25Then they sat down to eat. And looking up they saw a qcaravan of rIshmaelites coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing sgum, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry it down to Egypt. 26Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it tif we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and ulet not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. 28Then vMidianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and wsold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt.

1 Samuel 17:28

28Now Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spoke to the men. And Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, “Why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your presumption and the evil of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle.”

2 Samuel 16:11

11And David said to Abishai and to all his servants, “Behold, ymy own son seeks my life; how much more now may this Benjaminite! Leave him alone, and let him curse, for the Lord has told him to.

Job 19:13-19

13 “He has put my zbrothers far from me,
and aathose who knew me are wholly estranged from me.
14My relatives abhave failed me,
my close acfriends have forgotten me.
15The guests adin my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger;
I have become a foreigner in their eyes.
16I call to my servant, but he gives me no answer;
I must plead with him with my mouth for mercy.
17My breath is strange to my aewife,
and I am a stench to the children of afmy own mother.
18Even young agchildren despise me;
when I rise they talk against me.
19All my ahintimate friends abhor me,
and those whom I loved have turned against me.
