Genesis 3:17-18

17 And to Adam he said,

and have eaten of the tree

18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.

Isaiah 7:23

23 In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels ^{▼▼A shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams} of silver, will become ^ebriers and thorns.

Zephaniah 2:9

9 Therefore, ^fas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
