Genesis 3:17-19

17 And to Adam he said,

“Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
and have eaten of the tree
^aof which I commanded you,
‘You shall not eat of it,’
^bcursed is the ground because of you;
^cin pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your face
you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
for out of it you were taken;
^dfor you are dust,
and ^eto dust you shall return.”

Psalms 90:3-11

3 You return man to dust
and say, ^f“Return, ^gO children of man!” ^{▼▼Or of Adam}
4 For ⁱa thousand years in your sight
are but as ^jyesterday when it is past,
or as ^ka watch in the night.
5 You ^lsweep them away as with a flood; they are like ^ma dream,

Proverbs 14:32

32 ^uThe wicked is overthrown through his evildoing,

John 8:21

Romans 5:15

15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for ^acmany.

Romans 5:17

17 For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness ^adreign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
