Genesis 3:19

19By the sweat of your face
you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
for out of it you were taken;

Genesis 25:9-10

9Isaac and Ishmael chis sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, east of Mamre, 10the field dthat Abraham purchased from the Hittites. eThere Abraham was buried, with Sarah his wife.

Genesis 35:27-29

27And Jacob came to his father Isaac at fMamre, or gKiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned. 28Now the days of Isaac were 180 years. 29And Isaac breathed his last, and he died hand was gathered to his people, old and full of days. And ihis sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Genesis 47:30

30but let me lie with my fathers. Carry me out of Egypt and jbury me in their burying place.” He answered, “I will do as you have said.”

Genesis 49:29-32

29Then he commanded them and said to them, “I am to be kgathered to my people; lbury me with my fathers min the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, 30in the cave that is in the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, nwhich Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place. 31 oThere they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife. There pthey buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife, and there I buried Leah 32the field and the cave that is in it were bought from the Hittites.”

Genesis 50:13

13for qhis sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, which Abraham rbought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place.
