Genesis 3:3-5

3but God said, a‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 bBut the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Genesis 3:13

13Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, c“The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

1 Kings 22:22-23

22And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be da lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

2 Chronicles 18:19-22

19And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab the king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one said one thing, and another said another. 20Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ 21And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be ea lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 22Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets. 2 Corinthians 11:3

3But I am afraid that fas the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts gwill be led astray from a hsincere and ipure devotion to Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

13For such men are jfalse apostles, kdeceitful workmen, ldisguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as man angel of light. 15So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as nservants of righteousness. oTheir end will correspond to their deeds.
