Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? qTherefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit rthat he has made to dwell in us”? 6But she gives more grace. 1 Peter 5:8

Revelation of John 2:10

10Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, abthat you may be tested, and for acten days adyou will have tribulation. aeBe faithful afunto death, and I will give you agthe crown of life.

Revelation of John 9:11

11They have ahas king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is aiAbaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
 Abaddon means destruction;  Apollyon means destroyer
