11And Leah said, a“Good fortune has come!” so she called his name bGad.
 Gad sounds like the Hebrew for  good fortune

Genesis 35:26

26The sons of Zilpah, Leah’s servant: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram.

Genesis 49:19

19 dRaiders shall raid eGad,
 Gad sounds like the Hebrew for  raiders and raid

but he shall raid at their heels.
