Genesis 31:1

Jacob Flees from Laban

1Now Jacob heard that the sons of Laban were saying, “Jacob has taken all that was our father’s, and from what was our father’s he has gained all this wealth.”

Deuteronomy 8:12-14

Proverbs 10:15

15 nA rich man’s wealth is his strong city;
the poverty of the poor is their ruin.

Proverbs 11:28

28Whoever otrusts in his riches will fall,
but the righteous will pflourish like a green leaf.
