Genesis 32:30-31

30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, ^{▼▼ Peniel means the face of God} saying, “For ^bI have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.” 31 The sun rose upon him as he passed ^cPenuel, limping because of his hip.

Judges 8:8

8 And from there he went up to ^dPenuel, and spoke to them in the same way, and the men of Penuel answered him as the men of Succoth had answered.

Judges 8:17
