Genesis 33:10-11

10Jacob said, “No, please, if I have found favor in your sight, then accept my present from my hand. aFor I have seen your face, which is like seeing the face of God, and you have accepted me. 11Please accept my bblessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” Thus he curged him, and he took it.

15Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said, “Behold, I know that dthere is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so eaccept now a present from your servant.” 16But he said, f“As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, gI will receive none.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

Acts 16:15

15And after she was baptized, hand her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she iprevailed upon us.

19And not only that, but he has been nappointed by the churches to travel with us as we carry out this act of ograce that is being ministered by us, pfor the glory of the Lord himself and to show our good will.
