Genesis 33:20

20There he erected an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel.
 El-Elohe-Israel means God, the God of Israel


Genesis 35:10

10And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; bno longer shall your name be called Jacob, but cIsrael shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel.

Exodus 3:15

15God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The Lord,
The word Lord, when spelled with capital letters, stands for the divine name, YHWH, which is here connected with the verb hayah, “to be” in verse 14

David Prays in the Assembly
