13 The sons of Jacob answered Shechem and his father Hamor deceitfully, because he had defiled their sister Dinah.

7 Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce,
and their wrath, for it is cruel!
I will ^adivide them in Jacob
and scatter them in Israel.

34 For ^bjealousy makes a man furious,
and he will not spare when ^che takes revenge.
