Genesis 34:23-24

23Will not their livestock, their property and all their beasts be ours? Only let us agree with them, and they will dwell with us.” 24And all who went out of the gate of his city listened to Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male was circumcised, all who awent out of the gate of his city.

Exodus 23:7-8

Deuteronomy 16:19

19 fYou shall not pervert justice. gYou shall not show partiality, hand you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 23:4-5

4 ibecause they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they jhired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of kMesopotamia, to curse you. 5But the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam; instead the Lord your God turned lthe curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loved you.

Deuteronomy 23:18

18You shall not bring the fee of a prostitute or the wages of a dog
Or male prostitute
into the house of the Lord your God in payment for any vow, for both of these are an abomination to the Lord your God.

Judges 17:10-11
