And that day about three thousand men of the people fell. 29And Moses said, “Today you have been mordained for the service of the Lord, each one at the cost of his son and of his brother, so that he might bestow a blessing upon you this day.”

“Give to Levi

with whom you quarreled at the waters of Meribah;

‘I regard them not’;

10 tThey shall teach Jacob your rules
and Israel your law;
uthey shall put incense before you
and vwhole burnt offerings on your altar.
