Genesis 35:2

2So Jacob said to his ahousehold and to all who were with him, “Put away bthe foreign gods that are among you and cpurify yourselves and change your garments.

Exodus 20:3-5

4 f“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 gYou shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am ha jealous God, ivisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

Exodus 20:23

23 jYou shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.

Exodus 34:15-16

15 klest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they lwhore after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and myou are invited, you eat of his sacrifice, 16and you take of ntheir daughters for your sons, and their daughters owhore after their gods and make your sons whore after their gods.

Numbers 25:2

2 pThese invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.

Psalms 106:37-39
