Genesis 35:29

29And Isaac breathed his last, and he died aand was gathered to his people, old and full of days. And bhis sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Genesis 50:3-4

3Forty days were required for it, for that is how many are required for embalming. And the Egyptians cwept for him seventy days.

4And when the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, dIf now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,

Genesis 50:10-11

10When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, ethey lamented there with a very great and grievous lamentation, and he fmade a mourning for his father seven days. 11When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning on the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians.” Therefore the place was named Abel-mizraim;
 Abel-mizraim means mourning (or meadow) of Egypt
it is beyond the Jordan.

Deuteronomy 34:8

8And the people of Israel hwept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

2 Chronicles 35:24

24So his servants took him out of the chariot and carried him in his second chariot and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. iAll Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.

Psalms 35:14

14I went about as though I grieved for my friend or my brother;
as one who laments his mother,
I jbowed down in mourning.
