Genesis 36:6-7

6Then Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, his livestock, all his beasts, and all his property that he had acquired in the land of Canaan. He went into a land away from his brother Jacob. 7 aFor their possessions were too great for them to dwell together. bThe land of their sojournings could not support them because of their livestock.

Ecclesiastes 5:10-11

10He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity. 11When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes?

Luke 12:17-18

17and he thought to himself, cWhat shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ 18And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my dbarns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.

1 Timothy 6:9

9But ethose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, finto a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that gplunge people into ruin and destruction.
