Genesis 37:18-20

18They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them athey conspired against him to kill him. 19They said to one another, “Here comes this dreamer. 20Come now, blet us kill him and throw him into one of the pits.
Or cisterns; also verses 22, 24
Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him, and we will see what will become of his dreams.”

Psalms 2:2-8

2The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,

Matthew 2:13-16

The Flight to Egypt

13Now when they had departed, behold, nan angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” 14And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt 15and remained there until the death of Herod. oThis was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, p“Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Herod Kills the Children

16Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.

Mark 12:7-8

7But those tenants said to one another, zThis is the heir. Come, aalet us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 8And they took him and killed him and abthrew him out of the vineyard.

Luke 20:14

14But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves, acThis is the heir. adLet us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.’
