39And dthose who passed by ederided him, fwagging their heads 40and saying, g“You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! hIf you are ithe Son of God, come down from the cross.” 41So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him, saying, 42 j“He saved others; khe cannot save himself. lHe is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 mHe trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. Jesus Is Mocked
63 sNow the men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking him as they beat him. 64 tThey also blindfolded him and kept asking him, u“Prophesy! vWho is it that struck you?” 65And they said many other things against him, wblaspheming him.
