Genesis 37:26-28

26Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it aif we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and blet not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. 28Then cMidianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and dsold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt.

2 Kings 4:1

Elisha and the Widow’s Oil

1Now the wife of one of the fsons of the prophets cried to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord, gbut the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.”
