3Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was athe son of his old age. And he made him ba robe of many colors.

Genesis 37:31-33

31Then they took dJoseph’s robe and slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood. 32And they sent the robe of many colors and brought it to their father and said, “This we have found; please identify whether it is your son’s robe or not.” 33And he identified it and said, “It is my son’s robe. eA fierce animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn to pieces.”

Genesis 42:21

21Then they said to one another, f“In truth we are guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the distress of his soul, when he begged us and we did not listen. That is why this distress has come upon us.”
