Genesis 18:20-21

20Then the Lord said, “Because bthe outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, 21 cI will go down to see whether they have done altogether
Or  they deserve destruction; Hebrew  they have made a complete end
according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, eI will know.”

Exodus 3:7-9

7Then the Lord said, f“I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their gtaskmasters. I know their sufferings, 8and hI have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and ito bring them up out of that land to a jgood and broad land, a land kflowing with milk and honey, to the place of lthe Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 9And now, behold, mthe cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the noppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

Exodus 22:22-27

22 oYou shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. 23If you do mistreat them, and they pcry out to me, I will surely qhear their cry, 24and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and ryour wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.

25 sIf you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him. 26 tIf ever you take your neighbor’s cloak in pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down, 27for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he ucries to me, I will hear, for I am vcompassionate.

Deuteronomy 24:15

15 wYou shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), xlest he cry against you to the Lord, and you be guilty of sin.

Judges 10:11-12
