Genesis 4:24

24 ^aIf Cain’s revenge is sevenfold,
then Lamech’s is seventy-sevenfold.”

18 And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, then I will discipline you again ^bsevenfold for your sins,

21 ^c“Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins.

24 ^dthen I also will walk contrary to you, and I myself will strike you sevenfold for your sins.

28 then I will walk contrary to you ^ein fury, and I myself will discipline you ^fsevenfold for your sins.

12 Return ^gsevenfold into the ^hlap of our neighbors
the ⁱtaunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord!

31 but ^jif he is caught, he will pay ^ksevenfold;
he will give all the goods of his house.
