4and Abel also brought of athe firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord bhad regard for Abel and his offering, 5but cfor Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

Exodus 24:8-11

8 dAnd Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
