4and Abel also brought of athe firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord bhad regard for Abel and his offering, 5but cfor Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

Leviticus 19:23-25

23When you come into the land and plant any kind of tree for food, then you shall regard its fruit as forbidden.

Three years it shall be forbidden to you; it must not be eaten.
24And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord. 25But in the fifth year you may eat of its fruit, to increase its yield for you: I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 25:2-3

2Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into ethe land that I give you, the land shall keep a Sabbath to the Lord. 3For six years you shall sow your field, and for six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its fruits,

Joshua 5:11-12

11And the day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain. 12And fthe manna ceased the day after they ate of the produce of the land. And there was no longer manna for the people of Israel, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.
