Genesis 4:4-5

4 and Abel also brought of ^athe firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord ^bhad regard for Abel and his offering, 5 but ^cfor Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

Numbers 16:6-7

6 Do this: take ^dcensers, Korah and all his company; 7 put fire in them and put incense on them before the Lord tomorrow, and the man whom the Lord chooses shall be the holy one. ^eYou have gone too far, sons of Levi!”

Isaiah 1:10-15

10 Hear the word of the Lord,

my soul hates;
they have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
