Genesis 4:7-11

7 aIf you do well, will you not be accepted?

8Cain spoke to Abel his brother.

The voice of your brother’s blood his crying to me from the ground. 11And now iyou are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Genesis 6:5-6

5 jThe Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every kintention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And lthe Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it mgrieved him to his heart.
