Genesis 4:8

8Cain spoke to Abel his brother.

And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and bkilled him.

2 Samuel 2:23

23But he refused to turn aside. Therefore Abner struck him cin the stomach with the butt of his spear, so that the spear came out at his back. And he fell there and died where he was. And all who came to the place where Asahel had fallen and died, stood still.

2 Samuel 3:27

27And when Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the midst of the gate to speak with him privately, dand there he struck him ein the stomach, so that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

1 Kings 2:5-6

1 Kings 2:31-34

31The king replied to him, mDo as he has said, strike him down and bury him, nand thus take away from me and from my father’s house the guilt for the blood that Joab shed without cause. 32The Lord will obring back his bloody deeds on his own head, because, without the knowledge of my father David, he attacked and killed with the sword two men pmore righteous and better than himself, qAbner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and rAmasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah. 33 sSo shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the Lord forevermore.” 34Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and struck him down and put him to death. And he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.
