Genesis 40:14-15

14Only remember me, when it is well with you, and please do me the kindness to mention me to Pharaoh, and so get me out of this house. 15For aI was indeed stolen out of the land of the Hebrews, and bhere also I have done nothing that they should put me into the pit.”

Jeremiah 38:7-13

Jeremiah Rescued from the Cistern

7When cEbed-melech dthe Ethiopian, ea eunuch who was in the king’s house, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern—the king was sitting fin the Benjamin Gate 8 gEbed-melech went from the king’s house and said to the king, 9“My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they did to Jeremiah the prophet by casting him into the cistern, and he will die there of hhunger, ifor there is no bread left in the city.” 10Then the king commanded jEbed-melech the Ethiopian, “Take thirty men with you from here, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the cistern before he dies.” 11So kEbed-melech took the men with him and went to the house of the king, to a wardrobe in the storehouse, and took from there old rags and worn-out clothes, which he let down to Jeremiah in the cistern lby ropes. 12Then mEbed-melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, “Put the rags and clothes between your armpits and nthe ropes.” Jeremiah did so. 13Then they drew Jeremiah up with oropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the pcourt of the guard.

Matthew 25:36

36 qI was naked and you clothed me, rI was sick and you svisited me, tI was in prison and you came to me.’

Matthew 25:43

43I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’

Acts 16:29-34

And he acrejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.

Hebrews 10:34

34For adyou had compassion on those in prison, and aeyou joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had afa better possession and an abiding one.
