Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

1In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; ahis spirit was troubled, and bhis sleep left him. 2Then the king commanded that cthe magicians, dthe enchanters, the esorcerers, and fthe Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and gstood before the king. 3And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and hmy spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

Daniel 4:5

5I saw a dream that made me afraid. As I lay in bed the fancies and ithe visions of my head alarmed me.

Daniel Interprets the Second Dream

19Then Daniel, whose name was jBelteshazzar, was kdismayed for a while, and lhis thoughts alarmed him. The king answered and said, “Belteshazzar, let not the dream or the interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered and said, “My lord, mmay the dream be for those who hate you nand its interpretation for your enemies!

Daniel 5:6

6 oThen the king’s color changed, pand his thoughts alarmed him; qhis limbs gave way, and rhis knees knocked together.

Daniel 7:28

28Here is the end of the matter. sAs for me, Daniel, my tthoughts greatly alarmed me, uand my color changed, but vI kept the matter in my heart.”

Daniel 8:27

27And wI, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days. Then I rose and went about the king’s business, but I was appalled by the vision xand did not understand it.

Habakkuk 3:16

16 yI hear, and zmy body trembles;
my lips quiver at the sound;
aarottenness enters into my bones;
my legs tremble beneath me.
Yet abI will quietly wait for the day of trouble
to come upon people who invade us.
