A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver. Even their servants lorded it over the people. But I did not do so, fbecause of the fear of God.

Ecclesiastes 5:7

7For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity;
The Hebrew term hebel can refer to a “vapor” or “mere breath”; also verse 10 (see note on 1:2)

Or  For when dreams and vanities increase, words also grow many; but
iGod is the one you must fear.

Ecclesiastes 8:12

12Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and jprolongs his life, yet I know that kit will be well with lthose who fear God, because they fear before him.

Ecclesiastes 12:13

13The end of the matter; all has been heard. mFear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

2 Corinthians 7:1

1Since we have these promises, beloved, olet us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body
